Second Grade Teachers

Mrs. Dion

My name is Stephanie Dion and I am a second grade teacher. This is my 6th year of teaching at Pawtucketville Memorial. I live in Lowell with my husband Matt, our two sons, Colby and Mason, and our dog Bailey. I have taught many grades over the years, and have loved all of them, but second grade is definitely my favorite grade so far. When I am not teaching, I enjoy watching Ohio State football, cheering on my boys when they play sports and spending time with family and friends.

Mrs. Martin

My name is Mrs. Martin and this is my 13th year teaching at Pawtucketville. I have taught both third and second grade, but second grade is where my heart is! I live in Chelmsford, MA with my husband, Rob, my five year old son, Rory, and our four year old son, Harrison “Harry." When I am not teaching, I enjoy family time and our vacations in Nantucket. 

Ms. Mendonca

My name is Taylor Mendonca and I am a second-grade teacher. This is my 8th year teaching in Lowell! This is my second year as a second grade teacher. Prior to that I taught first grade. I currently live in Methuen, Ma. I recently had a baby boy, Carter, who I absolutely adore. He will turn 4 months this September. When I am not teaching, I enjoy time spending time outdoors, reading, binging Netflix, and (last but not least) spoiling my chihuahuas, Chewy and Olive! I also love coffee, the color pink, and pizza!

Ms. Shaikh

My name is Asiya Shaikh, and this is my 4th year teaching at Pawtucketville and my 2nd year in 2nd grade! My favorite subjects to teach are math and science, but I loved reading and social studies when I was a kid in school. When I’m not teaching, I enjoy cooking, reading, doing henna, and trying out new cafes and restaurants with my friends and family!
